In our practice, we emphasize patient education . While restorative procedures are a big part of our practice, it is equally important to us that our patients have every possible bit of information needed to obtain optimal oral health. Here are just some of the preventative products we recommend.


Toothpaste

We generally recommend Arm & Hammer with Baking Soda,or Prevident 5000, of which there are many varieties,depending on your specific needs
Toothbrushes

We recommend Oral B Braun toothbrushes - we have battery operated, rechargeable and electric models available at the office.Another popular choice of patients is Sonicare
Floss & Flossers

We recommend Johnson & Johnson Woven Floss and Reach Access Flossers
Mouthwashes

We recommend different mouthwashes based on your specific needs: Biotene, Periogard (chlorhexidine) and Act
Mouthguards

Your bite (occlusion)has effects on your mouth such as jaw pain, cracked and worn teeth and damage to restorations. Dr. Santavicca may recommend an occlusal guard to help protect your teeth.
Miscellaneous Products

if you chew gum, We recommend chewing a gum that has Xylitol in it

We carry "extra" dental needs such as rubber tips, end tuft brushes and canulas for your convenience
