How Do You Know If It's An Emergency?

While we emphasize prevention to avoid dental emergencies, they do happen. Nobody wants to be in pain, break a tooth or develop swelling or sensitivity. What constitutes an emergency?
Facial swelling

Severe pain in the mouth or jaw

Sensitivity to hot, cold or pressure

Broken tooth with sensitivity or sharp edges

Lost restoration (crown, filling, bridge) with sensitivity
