About The Doctor: Angela J Santavicca




Dr. Santavicca has always been interested in science, the natural world, business and art. Dentistry's many facets are a good fit to her personality. She enjoys learning about her patients and treating each for their individual needs.

Dr. Santavicca received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Michigan in 1990. She stayed in Ann Arbor another four years to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from the University of Michigan's School of Dentistry. She graduated in the top ten percent of the class and received both a senior scholarship and award in Operative Dentistry in May of 1994.

Dr. Santavicca has a great passion for the out of doors. Continuing her learning in dentistry and learning to ski were factors to deciding to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) certificate from the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. Besides learning alpine skiing, she had the opportunity to work in many dental specialty areas and work with patients having very complex medical situations.

Dr. Santavicca moved to New Hampshire in the summer of 1995 and has been a resident of the Upper Valley since 1997. She practiced as an associate dentist in both Bedford and Hanover,New Hampshire before purchasing the Hanover practice in 2000 and relocating it to the Hanover Road Professional Center in Lebanon. She is a long-standing member of the New Hampshire Dental Society.

Dr. Santavicca has a particular interest and special training in the problems of occlusion and the temporomandibular joint. She and her staff attend post-graduate continuing education classes to provide the best, up-to-date treatment.

Angela enjoys many outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, skiing and kayaking. She also enjoys yoga, movies, reading, playing with her cats, Oscar and Hunter, and gardening. Her dreams for the future include travel, enjoying her fellow co-workers and patients, and learning the fine art of relaxation.
